RECOFTC, one of SUMERNET members, published a story as part of WAVES, an initiative they are implementing that has built a network of more than 30 leaders who are influencing gender equality in the forestry and environment sectors in the Asia-Pacific region.
WAVES is shorthand for Weaving Leadership for Gender Equality. This approach will ensure that a series of efforts for Gender Equality are supported and sustained.
The story captures the inspiration and achievements of five gender leaders, and how WAVES helped them transform entire communities and organizations.
