• I am an enthusiastic, recent graduate in Development, Environment and Cooperation with a specialisation in Environmental Economics and Policy. I previously interned at the Stockholm Environment Institute – Asia Centre in Bangkok, contributing to a Regional Assessment led by SEI under the Sustainable Mekong Research Network (SUMERNET) on water scarcity issues arising from seasonal drought, inter-annual climate variability and climate change.

  • Shaara Ainsley is a fisheries biologist with over a decade of research experience in California, Alaska, Southeast Asia, and Central America. Her responsibilities include project management, study design, data management and analysis, report writing and editing, and grant writing. She provides scientific advising for Central Valley clients on issues related to ESA-listed fish species in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, including delta smelt and salmonids. She participates each month in the Delta Smelt Scoping Team of the Collaborative Science and Adaptive Management Program.

  • Dr. Abdul Salam is currently serving as an Associate Professor at Department of Energy Environment and Climate Change, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Salam has around 25 years of international experience in research, consultancy and capacity building in the areas of bioenergy (biomass, biofuel, biogas), waste to energy, renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate change mitigation, and water-energy-food nexus.
