There will be one "External Day" on 30th May which is a public event. On 311 May and 1st June, there will be "Internal Days" intended mainly for SEI colleagues and project partners.
The panel with SUMERNET partners will take place during the internal day on 31st May.
SUMERNET: Enhancing Research and Policy through a Partnership Approach
To address the sustainable development challenges in the Mekong Region, the Sustainable Mekong Research Network (SUMERNET) was established with 14 members in 2005 and now has expanded to almost 70 member institutes. This session will share insights on key successes and lessons learnt during over the past 12 years as well as challenges and opportunities lying ahead for SUMERNET considering its aspiration for "reducing water insecurity for all" in the coming decade. The session will explore how other networks/initiatives can best use SUMERNET’s partnership approach to further enhance their influence for better research and changes in policy and practice.
